About me

I’m a multi-media artist looking to enter the industries, to learn and expand both my knowledge and creative skills.
In short, I have always loved stories and the visual arts. From an early age, films and books fascinated me in equal measure, and I spent the majority of my childhood drawing and imagining otherwordly settings and fantastic characters.
As I entered my teenage years, I continued painting and discovered my passion for writing: short stories at first, and small scripts later on (in both Spanish and English).

By the time I finished school, it had become clear to me that my creative vision expanded well beyond traditional art, and had the potential to dip into a wide range of different lines of work. In that sense, it was the audio-visual industry that comprised most—if not all—of the fields I was passionate about.
I was fortunate enough to be admitted at the Westminster University (London) for a foundation year on Film & Television Practice. Here I acquainted myself with the principles of photography, filmmaking and storytelling, as well as becoming involved in every stage of production. After an enriching one-year experience, I went back to my country of origin to study a degree in Film, Television & Media Studies at the UC3M (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid). Here I was able to complement my experience with theoretical and analytical knowledge, acquiring the vocabulary for filmic expression and criticism, necessary to analyse the complex issues that saturate today's media environment.
My graduation film, Roommates, is the product of four academic years of work and marked the end of my undergraduate period.
My current goal is to channel my creative outlets to contribute to the industry, gaining experience and bringing stories to life.
