The Dreammakers Project
The Dreammakers project is an innovative initiative to encourage and elevate young, emerging talent in the filmmaking industry. Thanks to the exceptional support of CUPRA, ESCAC and award-winning filmmaker J. A. Bayona, two short film projects were selected, funded and developed from 2024 to 2025. As a participant of its very first edition, my script and original idea slowly carved a place for itself among the finalists, and was chosen from among 400+ other scripts submitted. Impossible to categorize, my story blends realist drama, razor-sharp tension and thriller beats with brushstrokes of fantasy. This is how 'Bait' ('Señuelo' in Spanish) was born.

'Bait' revolves around Martin, a young timid boy forced to accompany his father and his father's boss on a hunting trip. But during the day, tensions arise and a monstrous presence makes itself apparent
