being familiar in front of the camera as well as behind is a useful skill to any creative. becoming the filmed or photographed subject gives me the opportunity to acquaint myself with framing and directions in a different way, in turn making me a better director when the roles are reversed. my experience with theatre and screen acting allows me channel and embody unexpressed emotions
